Cardi B’s newborn has many aunts who pamper him. The rapper’s good friend and fellow entertainer, Selena Gomez, surprised them by sending a giant gift basket full of adorable toys and snacks for the busy mom.
The 29-year-old “WAP” singer took to social media to share the thoughtful gesture with her fans. “I received this beautiful gift basket for ‘Sun Sun,’ with this Selena Gomez bear,” Cardi says in the video she shared on her Instagram. “It’s so cute and has delights for me. You know, when I rock the baby to sleep at night, you know I’m hungry at night.”

The star of Dominican descent continues to thank Selena. “This one is so cute! Thank you, Selena Gomez; you’re adorable.” In the video, Cardi wrote “thank you @selenagomez” with three heart emojis.
Gomez and Cardi’s friendship developed after collaborating on the mega hit “Taki Taki,” a song with DJ Snake and Puerto Rican reggaeton star Ozuna. After that, the pop star, actress and businesswoman has always been supporting Cardi B in her milestones.

Selena’s gift celebrates the baby’s first month and Cardi will benefit from it in multiple ways, mainly because she decided not to host a baby shower. According to the rapper, she preferred to have a big party for her daughter. In an interview on live radio app Stationhead, she explains why.
“I feel overwhelmed when I celebrate these big birthdays and I feel like the baby shower with Kulture’s birthday is too close,” Cardi said. “Just seeing the same people again and it’s like not doing it.”
In September, the rapper made her first public appearance after giving birth. The star became the center of attention at Paris Fashion Week when she arrived at a Mugler event wearing a spectacular and mind-blowing outfit. Cardi described herself as a “MUGLER MOMMY” on social media and she stepped onto the “Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” black carpet in a fitted, over-the-top sequin dress from the designer’s 1995 couture collection. The low-cut red dress had a matching cape constructed of feathers.
