Despite as much, though, speculation in the media over recent months has linked the Spanish international with a potential summer transfer.
One club tipped as a potential landing spot, meanwhile, have been the aforementioned Liverpool.
During a Q&A session for The Residency on Friday, the subject of his links with the Merseyside outfit, in turn, were put to Balde himself.
The 20-year-old, though made use of the opportunity to shut as much down in their tracks.
This comes with Balde having made crystal clear that his sole focus remains on matters in Catalunya’s capital.
