Avril Lavigne has announced her only South of England headline show at the inaugural TK Maxx presents Bedford Summer Sessions, taking place at Bedford Park on Saturday 29 June.
The date will come just ahead of Avril’s two huge outdoor shows in Cardiff and Manchester, taking place on July 02 and 03 respectively, and will see support from Simple Plan.
This year, Summer Sessions – which is being partnered with TK Maxx – will also host Tom Jones, James, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Jess Glynne, and DJ Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics on other dates.
General sale tickets for the Avril show will go on sale this Friday, February 16, via the Summer Sessions site.
As well as these three UK shows so far announced, Avril is also heading out on her ‘Greatest Hits’ tour across the US and Canada, beginning in May and concluding in September.
Avril’s latest album ‘Love Sux’ was released in 2022 and featured collaborations with Blink-182’s Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, Machine Gun Kelly and Blackbear.
A 20th anniversary edition of her immense studio debut ‘Let Go’ also arrived in 2022.
Starting today, Weekend Passes for Bedford Summer Sessions are on sale, with Weekend One Passes giving access to both Jess Glynne & Avril Lavigne shows.
