WWE is back and better than ever in its first show since the UFC merger with legends Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Pat McAfee, and John Cena back in the ring.
Pat McAfee opened the show with a surprise appearance and confronted his longtime rival Austin Theory.
Theory had no ground to stand on as WWE legend The Rock entered the arena out of nowhere to defend McAfee.
The Rock hasn’t graced the WWE ring since 2019 and fans were ecstatic to see him and McAfee take down Theory.
Later on in the show, The Rock ran into John Cena and the two shared a sweet hug.
Fans reacted to the heartfelt moment on X (formerly Twitter), with one writing: “Long time coming…Hugged it out.”
