The 39-year-old star also dressed down for the day in a simple white T-shirt and a pair of black trousers as well as smart black shoes.

It is set to be a busy few weeks for Avril, who will take to stage in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Tuesday as she embarks on the South American leg of her tour.

Avril recently came under fire from several people on Twitter who blasted her music video for new single Hello Kitty, which included her singing over-the-top in Japanese.
Some accused the blonde star of making a mockery of the culture, but she took to Twitter herself to hit back.
She wrote: ‘RACIST??? LOLOLOL!!! I love Japanese culture (sic)’
