Maybe not satisfied with the goals they set for themselves, Liverpool and Tottenham still gave their fans a “rain” of goals when the two sides met at Anfield.

 
 

The scene of midfielder Cristian Romero and defender Emerson Royal arguing violently, forcing goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to separate the two from the argument, made already sad Tottenham fans even more angry.

In the 45th minute, Andy Robertson doubled the gap for Liverpool with a very easy kick from close range after Salah’s finish was blocked by the Tottenham goalkeeper.

Third goal…

Tottenham’s net shook for the third time in the 50th minute. This time, Harvey Elliott won the ball on the right wing and then made a cross as if it were set for Cody Gakpo to head in, defeating goalkeeper Vicario. 

Less than 10 minutes later, it was Harvey Elliott’s turn to receive the ball from Salah and launch a shot outside the penalty area, subduing the Tottenham defense for the fourth time in the match.

…. and Tottenham’s fourth goal

Tottenham’s efforts in the rest of the match only helped “Rooster” get 2 honorable goals from Richarlison and Son Heung-m in. 

This loss left Tottenham still in 5th place with 60 points, missing the opportunity to close the gap with fourth-placed team Aston Villa (67 points) and losing to opponents such as Newcastle, Chelsea and Man United. hot breath on the back of the neck.

Son Heung-min and Richarlison could not save their defeat

Liverpool, with 78 points in hand, is currently 5 and 4 points behind the two leading teams, Arsenal and Man City, respectively. Coach Jurgen Klopp’s team will be forced to win the remaining 2 matches and expect both Arsenal and Man City to stumble if they want to win the Premier League this season.

Tottenham is in danger of going empty-handed for the second consecutive season

 

Chelsea defeated West Ham 5-0, temporarily surpassing Man United to take 7th place due to equal points but more goals than their opponent. The “Red Devils” will have to take it all back during their trip to London on Crystal Palace’s field in the early morning of May 7, the latest match of round 36.
