Hyenas are opportunistic animals, specializing in prowling and stealing prey from other predators. If lions are a difficult “gamble”, cheetahs and leopards are easier targets for hyenas to fight over.

Normally, hyenas will follow the herd, taking advantage of numbers to overwhelm the lone leopard. In some other cases, hyenas, even without their own kind, still blatantly rush towards leopards to compete for food.

Most of the time, the leopard will leave the bait behind to avoid unnecessary fighting. However, if it is discovered that the hyena has no friends, some leopards will return to attack the robbers.

Being attacked by a leopard, the hyena tried its best to protect its prize, but it understood that it could not defeat a tough and strong opponent. After a long struggle, the leopard finally regained the bait and immediately climbed up the tree to avoid the enemy’s attention.

The defeated hyena could only pick up the pieces of meat left scattered on the ground, hoping to find something to eat.
