5,000 fans welcomed Ronaldo and the Portugal team

As a star with great attraction in Euro 2024, when the Portuguese team and Ronaldo arrived in Germany, they were greeted by 5,000 fans lining up.

The plane carrying the Portuguese team and Ronaldo landed in Munster at 7:25 p.m. on June 13 (local time). Then CR7 and his teammates boarded the bus to go to the Klosterpforte hotel, about 50km away.

During the journey, the bus carrying the Portuguese team was escorted by a special team with 300 members of the motorcycle club “Moto-Tugas”. When approaching the hotel, the Portuguese players were surprised by the welcome of more than 5,000 people standing on both sides of the road. They carried the Portuguese national flag and continuously chanted the name: Ronaldo! Ronaldo! Ronaldo!

Ronaldo had a nice action before scoring 2 goals for Portugal

To see Ronaldo, some people have to climb ladders. Others climbed trees to get a better view.

As soon as the Portuguese team’s bus entered the hotel, the first security barrier was “penetrated” and the fans all held mobile phones in their hands to try to take photos of the players. Some people even tried to climb over the fence in the hope of taking photos or filming Ronaldo.

Below are some pictures when the Portuguese team arrived in Germany in a warm welcome from fans:
