10 interesting science facts that school doesn’t teach you

We often learn about amazing things about science, like Einstein’s theory of relativity, the periodic table of elements, or DNA replication. But what about other interesting things? The knowledge we gain in school is the foundation for many of the amazing things about science that we will study later. Science is not just about lectures in the classroom, when we are passionate about learning and exploring, science will be really interesting and fascinating.

Below are some very “brain-damaging” but extremely interesting facts that schools did not teach us, they have no order at all. If teachers shared these things when we were in school, we would surely be impressed.

A cracked egg on land would result in a shapeless mass of goo. But 18 meters below sea level, the pressure on the egg is 2.8 times that of the atmosphere, which would help keep the egg intact as if it were still in its shell.

Without going the way your teacher taught you a 2 +b 2 = c 2 , you can easily prove the Pythagorean theorem with liquids as illustrated in this illustration.

5. What happens when a black hole swallows a star?

When a star is sucked into a black hole, the powerful plasma jets that emerge from this process can reach hundreds of thousands of light-years in length. “As the star is torn apart by the black hole’s gravity, some of the star falls into the black hole, while the rest is ejected at extremely high speeds,” said researcher Suvi Gezari at Johns Hopkins University.

According to MinutePhysics, all you need to do is make a pinhole with your hand, which will help focus light onto your retina. It may not give you 20/20 vision, but it can help you a lot if you don’t have your glasses with you.

Embryonic development is incredibly complex, and scientists have only discovered a tiny fraction of it. But a study has shown how the folds that form the human face in the womb form. In fact, the human face doesn’t just appear and grow. In the first few months of pregnancy, the face develops in separate, separate parts, then “fits” together like a puzzle.

Of these, the mouth area is “joined” last, and this is also the reason for the formation of the philtrum – the groove between our nose and mouth.

The ball flies thanks to the Magnus effect, which occurs when the air on the front side of a rotating object moves in the same direction as its rotation. Meanwhile, the air on the other side of the object moves in the opposite direction, so the air streams are separated.

In the above example, there are two air currents acting on the ball. The air moving in the direction of the ball’s rotation will increase its speed and carry the ball along, while the air moving in the opposite direction of rotation will exert a force on the ball, causing it to fly away.
